ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
ALL ATTENDEES ARE EXPECTED TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
- The deadline for abstract submission is June 30, 2018.
- Copyright will be retained by the authors. These abstracts will not be published.
- Scientific abstracts should include new data that has not been previously presented at an academic conference. Encore abstracts (i.e. abstracts that are unchanged from previously presented abstracts) are discouraged.
- Abstracts are to be formatted as follows:
- Title
- Presenting Author
- Other Authors
- Funding Source
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Total word count (inclusive of Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions) is not to exceed 400.
- One Figure or Table can be attached to your Abstract Submission.
- When submitting your abstract, you will need to specify the following category classifications that will be used for abstract review committee assignments as well as for developing the schedule of abstract presentations at the meeting:
- Type of Research: Clinical; Transitional; Basic
- Level of Presenting Author: Student/Trainee; Early Academic (<3 years); General Academic (>3 years); Commercial; Other
- Willingness to give Oral Presentation: Yes; No
- All abstracts will be graded for scientific quality and impact by the ICLAF 2018 Scientific Committee.
- All presenters will be notified by July 31, 2018 as to their acceptance and presentation status:
- Six (6) abstracts will be selected by the scientific committee for oral presentation during the scientific sessions.
- Six (6) student/trainee or early academic abstracts will be selected by the scientific committee for oral presentation during the junior investigator scientific session.
- All other accepted abstracts will be presented as posters that will be displayed throughout the conference and reviewed during dedicated poster sessions.
